From 11 to 19 April 2020, Genoa will host the event will act as the European continental qualification regatta for Tokyo 2020, marking its importance to the international sailing calendar.

Racing at Hempel World Cup Series Genoa will be held using the entire area of Fiera di Genova, the same venue that hosts the International Boat Show every year.
